Mumbai: A clever woman filmed a guy who got into her auto impersonating a policeman. The man threatened to take legal action against her if she refused to pay a fine of Rs 50,000. The incident took place in Mumbai’s Powai area. The video of the incident garnered several views. Netizens were quick to laud the girl’s quick thinking. In the video shared online, the woman filmed a man who got into her auto and demanded she pay a hefty fine for using vape.
The man, dressed in formal, tried to stop the woman from filming him. However, she refused and narrated the incident on camera. She stated, “I’m currently on MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) Road…He’s forcibly trying to take me to Powai Chowki.”As per the woman, the man got into the auto and took her vape from her. Despite being asked for an ID, the man refused to show any proof and started to use the woman’s vape while threatening to take legal action against her.

In the clip, the woman was heard telling the man that he could not take her anywhere without the presence of a female cop. Soon, the man got scared and got out of the auto. The video of the incident was shared on X by the woman’s sibling. Netizens praised the girl’s courage and even tagged Mumbai police in the comments. They asked the cops to look into the matter and find the scammer.
