Hyderabad: YouTuber Harsha Sai has been booked for alleged rape and reportedly taking nude pictures and videos and blackmailing an actress for money by Narsingi Police on Tuesday, September 24.
The actress, also a former Bigg Boss OTT contestant, starred alongside Harsha as female lead in a film last year.
Rajendranagar DCP Srinivas said that a case has been registered against Harsha Sai and his father Radhakrishna under sections 376 and 354 based on her complaint. Narsingi police said that the actress was sent for medical examination and an investigation is underway.
Harsha Sai, who gained popularity as a YouTuber with his videos of helping the common man financially, is said to be running illegal betting apps, as per reports.
According to her complaint, the social media influencer promised to marry her and under the pretext of marriage, he allegedly raped her. After clicking nude pictures of her, her blackmailed her, the complaint further read. He is yet to be arrested.
Harsha Sai denies allegations:
Taking to his Instagram account story, Harsha denied the allegations and said that ‘these are false allegations to extort money.’
He further said, “You know about me, the truth will come soon. My advocate Mr Tanikonda Chiranjeevi, Vijayawada will address this further.”
