PM Modi slammed the Congress-led state government and said several power centres exist in the state.
“By seeing the crowd gathered here, the INDI alliance has lost its sleep. Congress has become a habitual liar. Congress leaders are busy filling their coffers, there is no money left for development. There are several power centres in the state. There is a super CM, there is a shadow CM and many more. I can gauge the anger of people against the Congress government in the state,” the PM said.
The PM lashed out at the Congress and said that the ‘party is continuing the British mindset.’
“The British left the country, but Congress continued its mindset. First, they divided the country and then they instigated quarrels between castes. They are now following a divisive policy in the matter of religion as well. Recently, the Congress MP from Karnataka has made a statement about dividing the country. Instead of throwing such an MP out of the party, the Congress party is protecting him. Such Congress party should be eradicated,” Modi said.
The PM slammed the INDI Alliance and said that ‘they want to destroy ‘Hindu Shakti’.
“Yesterday an announcement to destroy Hindu Shakti was made from Shivaji Park (in Mumbai). How much it must have hurt the soul of Balasaheb Thackeray. If INDIA bloc wants to destroy ‘Shakti’, worshipping it is our declaration… The people of the country will give them an answer on June 4,” Modi said.
Senior BJP leader KS Eshwarappa who is upset with the party for denying the ticket to his son Kantesh from Haveri skipped the event. Eshwarappa has announced that he would contest the election as an independent from Shivamogga. Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, state president BY Vijayendra, and BJP candidate Raghavendra among other party leaders attended PM Modi’s rally.
