Hyderabad: Heavy rain is likely to occur in some places in Adilabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, districts of Telangana on September 26, 27.
Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) is very likely to occur in some places in Adilabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet and Kamareddy districts till September 28.
As per Independent weather expert T Balaji, rain in Hyderabad city will be scattered and not widespread after six continuous days of grey, rainy weather.
In Andhra Pradesh, the IMD said that heavy rains are likely on Thursday. Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Manyam, Alluri, Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu districts are likely to receive light to moderate rains.
The AP Disaster Management Agency said light rains are expected at scattered places in Prakasam, Nellore, Kurnool, Nandyala, Anantapur, Sri Sathyasai, YSR district, Annamaiya, Chittoor and Tirupati districts.
Meanwhile, the low pressure area over westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal off north Andhra-south Odisha coasts moved west north-westwards and has become less marked. The associated cyclonic circulation now lies over south Chhattisgarh & neighbourhood and extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height.
