Under the influence of cyclonic circulation over Central Bay of Bengal, a low-pressure area has formed over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay off north Andhra-south Odisha coasts.

Heavy rain hit several areas of Hyderabad including Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Panjagutta, Khairatabad, Qutubullapur, Miyapur, Madhapur, Bachupally among others on Wednesday.
Waterlogging and traffic congestion was seen in many areas such as Panjagutta, Masabtank, Mahaveer Hospital, PTI, Ayodhya, Nirankari, Shadan.
Scattered storms and rain also lashed Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Kamreddy, Nizamabad districts.

As per India Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Siricilla, Medak, Kamareddy districts on Sept 25, 26 along with thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) in Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Nagarkurnool among others.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Nalgonda received the highest amount of rainfall with 129.8 mm followed by Jangaon with 117 mm. Khammam received 103.8 mm rainfall, as per Telangana Development Planning Society data.
Rangareddy received 86 mm rainfall followed by 75.5 mm in Uppal, Medchal Malkajgiri, 44.5 mm rain in Musheerabad on Tuesday, TDPS data said.
Maximum and minimum temperatures in Hyderabad stood at 31 and 23 degrees Celsius.

Under the influence of cyclonic circulation over Central Bay of Bengal, a low-pressure area has formed over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay off north Andhra-south Odisha coasts. The associated cyclonic circulation extends upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting south westwards with height.
Heavy rain is likely predicted for North coastal AP, South coastal AP, Yanam, Rayalaseema over the next few days.
