Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday kickstarted the BJP election campaign in Karnataka by addressing a mega rally in Kalaburagi, which is the home turf of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. “BJP will win a record number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections…The election is yet to be announced and you have already announced it. The Congress leaders have already started saying that Abki baar Modi Sarkar,” Modi said.
PM Modi also lashed out at the Congress claiming that ‘corruption is the oxygen of Congress.’
“I can understand the anger of the people of Karnataka against the Congress. No matter what, the Congress does not change its behaviour. Corruption is like the oxygen for Congress. The money is being looted from here to fill the coffers of a family,” Modi said.
