Bengaluru: In a horrifying incident which raises serious concerns about the safety of people a man and his wife were brutally attacked by seven boys who were drinking and creating nuisance in the society.
Shivagange Gowda aged 38 and his wife aged 35 live at 4th Main, Tunganagara, Herohalli, off Magadi Road. Gowda had parked his SUV outside his house. After getting disturbed by the noise, when Gowda looked out from the window, he saw a few youths drinking and partying near his car. Gowda asked the youths to leave the place as it was a residential area. The youth replied to him that they would leave shortly.
Three youth attacks man
When the youth still didn’t leave, he tried to call on 112 for complaining about it to the police, but he did not get any response. He then went inside the house. After sometime Gowda went outside the house with his pet dog for a walk. When he saw the youth still standing outside his house, he went towards. He asked them to have some dignity and leave the place quickly. The three youth tried to attack him and he rushed back to his house, as reported by Times of India.
Youth assaults women
After this his wife Jayalakshmi came out and asked the youths to leave the place. One of the youth tried to went inside the house with a dagger. Another one hit the dragger in a small tree in front of his house and threaten her. When Jayalakshmi slapped him, he assaulted her.
Their four friends came from autorickshaw, after they called them. They started throwing bricks on the SUV and vandalised it. Gowda took his son’s cricket bat to shoo them away but they started attacking him with the dragger and he got injured from the dragger. When the neighbours came outside the miscreants ran away from the place. On Monday the Byadarahalli police inquired him and registered his complaint.
