YRKKH written update: The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, scheduled to air on October 25, 2024, begins with Rohit and Ruhi noticing that Abhira is in deep distress. Surprisingly, Ruhi, concerned for Abhira, approaches Abhira. Rohit suggests that it might be Abhira’s Karwa Cuath antics that might have ruined the mood between her and Armaan. However, Ruhi disagrees and reminds him about  Armaan’s level of devotion to Abhira. She suspects that Armaan would not be this upset with Abhira for a small lie. Rohit agrees and decides to speak about the problem at hand with Abhira.

On the other hand, Abhira sits alone, in disbelief at Armaan’s harsh words towards her. She puts her hand on her stomach and speaks to her unborn child, asking them not to take Armaan’s words to heart. She blames herself for the misfortune that has been brought upon her relationship with Armaan. She imagines how happy the couple would have been if the circumstances were even slightly better. Dancing on the streets with her husband and baby, Abhira smiles at the picture-perfect scenario. Just then, Armaan enters the room and hugs her. While they stand in each other’s embrace, unable to take it any further, break down.

Abhira, in tears, questions the universe as to why their life keeps giving them new challenges every day. She expresses her want for a happy and complete family with him and their baby. Although he still dislikes Abhira’s life in danger, Armaan tries his best to support Abhira in her decision. Just then, the kids of the house walk in on the couple. While they joke about getting caught, Ruhi notices the pain in Abhira’s eyes. Rohit exchanges concerned glances with Armaan. The latter nods and assures him that everything is alright.

The next morning, the preparations for Charu and Neeraj’s engagement are in full swing. Vidya suggests waiting for Armaan and Abhira, which raises suspicions, especially for Ruhi, who senses something is amiss. When they arrive almost everyone notices the lack of Abhira’s usual charm and shine in her eyes. After the engagement the family takes pictures. When Manish arrives, Sanjay quietly warns him that Charu’s getting engaged. When Manish turns to leave, Kaveri asks him why he did not attend the function. Manish explains that he was not invited. Kaveri berates Sanjay for not inviting the Goenka family to Charu’s engagement.

Mala inquires about the cake, however, Abhira admits that she forgot to prepare the cake. This surprises Charu as Abhira is not the type of person who forgets such important events. Vidya and Sanjay begin taunting her. but Neerja offers to order a cake to diffuse the situation. Armaan immediately defends Abhira, but she discreetly leaves. Retreating to her usual hiding spot, Abhira is found curled up crying inside a cupboard. Armaan is heartbroken to spot Abhira in such distress. He admits that looking at Abhira in such a lost and vulnerable state, makes him feel unbelievably powerless. With this, they go back into the functions, but cannot help but be gloomy. Just then, ABhira notices something stressing out Charu on her big day.
