Titan share price
Titan share price declined nearly 2 percent to Rs 3,169.75 apiece today morning. The stock went down after the Tata Group’s jewellery brand declared that its net profit lowered 23.1 per cent to Rs 704 crore in the second quarter of 2024-25. In its second quarter results of the previous financial year, Titan had reported a net profit of Rs 916 crore, In its regulatory filing, the leading jewellery manufacturing company said its sales increased 25.82 per cent to Rs 13,473 crore as compared to Rs 10,708 crore for the corresponding quarter.
Titan’s total expenses in Q2 of 2024-25 jumped 20.23 per cent to Rs 13,709 crore, while the total income appreciated 15.83 per cent to Rs 14,656 crore.
Hindustan Zinc share price today
Hindustan Zinc share price plunged over 7 per cent to Rs 517.10 per equity share today morning. The stock dropped following the government’s announcement that it will sell up to 2.5 per cent stake in the company at a floor price of Rs 505 per share through an offer for sale (OFS). The stake sale is aimed at garnering over Rs 5,000 crore at the floor price. The OFS will be opened for institutional bidders on November 5 and for retail investors on 6th November.
“Offer for sale in Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) opens tomorrow (Wednesday) for non-retail investors. Retail investors can bid on Thursday, 7th November. Government will divest 1.25 per cent equity with an additional 1.25 per cent as greenshoe option,” Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey said in a post on X.
Gail share price today
GAIL share price jumped nearly 6 per cent to Rs 207.84 after the PSU reported a 10 per cent jump in the July-September quarter of 2024-25. The state-owned GAIL informed the exchanges
that its consolidated net profit stood at Rs 2,689.67 crore as against Rs 2,442.18 crore in the second quarter of 2023-24. As per the stock exchange filing by India’s biggest natural gas transmission and marketing firm, the revenue was almost flat from operations at Rs 33,981.33 crore.
