Bigg Boss News

Shilpa Shirodkar is all set to take the entertainment quotient up a notch on the Salman Khan-hosted show as she recently entered the Bigg Boss 18 house as a contestant. But did you know she is a huge fan of the reality series and has followed its previous seasons?

New Delhi: India’s most loved reality show, Bigg Boss, kicked off its 18th season on Sunday (October 6, 2024) and, as expected, it boasts a power-packed lineup of celebrity contestants. Among them, Shilpa Shirodkar turned out to be a major surprise for fans as she joined the list of participants.

The 50-year-old diva ruled the film industry in the ’90s. She not only worked with some of the biggest stars of that era but also made a special place in the hearts of viewers with her captivating on-screen performances.

You will be amazed to know that Shilpa is a huge fan of the controversial reality show. In a conversation with TV9 Digital Hindi, she also revealed her favourite Bigg Boss contestant.

Shilpa Shirodkar’s favourite Bigg Boss season

“I liked Bigg Boss season 13 very much because it felt very real. The fights between those contestants were genuine and their love was also authentic. The friendships among the contestants were very real in that season,” Shilpa said. She added, “Nothing seemed to be done for the camera and, if we talk about my favorite contestant, it was Shehnaaz Gill. I found Shehnaaz very cute. Although I have enjoyed the other seasons of Bigg Boss as well, season 13 was very special.”

Shilpa further disclosed her family’s reaction when she informed them about her Bigg Boss stint. “My daughter and my husband have always supported me, and they are very happy for me. I will miss my daughter the most. I have a habit of talking to her on the phone every day,” she mentioned.
