New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has started the online registration process for the 2024 Summer Internship Programme today, October 15. It has started accepting online applications for RBI Summer Internship 2024 through the official portal at rbi.org.in. Interested candidates who meet the prerequisites set by the Bank can register for the RBI Summer Internship from October 15 to December 15, 2024.
The internship is available for students who are studying postgraduate studies or 5-year integrated courses in various disciplines including Statistics, Law, Management, Commerce, Econometrics, Banking, Economics, or Finance. Aspirants can also enrol for the RBI Internship 2024 with 3-year full-time professional bachelor’s degrees in Law.
A total of 125 candidates will be shortlisted for the RBI Summer Internship Scheme 2024. The selection of candidates will be based on the interviews scheduled in January-February at specific RBI offices. The RBI Summer Internship final selection list will be announced in February/ March.
All the foreign students who enrolled in disciplines such as Economics, Finance, Banking, Management, and Law at universities or institutions abroad are also eligible to register. The shortlisted candidates will work only on projects at the RBI’s Central Office in Mumbai.

Step 4: Search for the application form link
Step 5: Fill in the RBI Summer Internship scheme registration form
Step 6: Upload all the mandatory documents
Step 7: Submit the registration form
Step 8: Download and keep the hard copy of the registration form for future need.

RBI Summer Internship stipend
The shortlisted candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 20,000. One must note that accommodation is not provided for outstation candidates. The selected candidates must sign a declaration of secrecy before kick-starting their internship.
