

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Palwal on October 1, 2024, authorities have imposed traffic restrictions from 9 AM to 6 PM, prohibiting all heavy and light vehicle entries from Faridabad and Delhi to ensure smooth operations and law enforcement.

Faridabad: In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to District Palwal on October 1, 2024, local authorities have announced significant traffic restrictions to ensure smooth operations and maintain law and order. From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM today, the entry of all heavy and light vehicles from Faridabad and Delhi towards Palwal will be strictly prohibited.
During this time, Citizens are encouraged to use public transport to minimize congestion and ensure a hassle-free experience.
Traffic advisory for today:
The traffic police urge all residents and drivers to adhere to the following guidelines to prevent any disruption and inconvenience:
- Restricted entry: No vehicles from Faridabad or Delhi will be allowed into Palwal via the Agra-Mathura Highway (NH-44) between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
- Use of alternate routes: Commuters traveling to Palwal from Delhi or Faridabad should avoid the Delhi-Mathura Road (NH-44) and instead use the Bypass Road via IMT Chowk and Fatehpur-Mandkol-Palwal Road.
- Specific route guidelines:
- Vehicles traveling from Kaili to Gadpuri-Prithla must take the Bypass Road rather than NH-44.
- Drivers heading from Faridabad to Palwal are advised to use the KMP/KGP expressways or the Vadodara Expressway instead of NH-44.
Alternate routes:
- Use the Kali-Jajru underpass to access the Vadodara Expressway.
- From Faridabad, drivers should use the Chandavali-Dayalpur route via IMT Chowk to reach the KMP and KGP Expressways.
- Commuters traveling from Delhi to Palwal should opt for the KMP and KGP expressways, accessible via the Badarpur border bypass.
Authorities warn that legal action will be taken against any vehicles found violating these restrictions, in accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act. For everyone’s safety and convenience, the cooperation of all residents and drivers is highly appreciated.

It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gearing up for a significant election rally in Palwal today. This will be his fourth visit to the state since assembly elections were announced for October 5. The rally is set to occur near the Faridabad-Palwal border, specifically in the Prithla Assembly constituency.
