Maan Singh Akali issues warning to Neha Kakkar
The leader of Baba Budha Dal, Maan Singh Akali, expressed his discontent with content creators, who post “offensive material” online. He also warned those engaged in “offensive” behaviour to initially be given a chance to amend their actions in a peaceful way. He further stated in the video that if they continue to post such content on social media, they will face “consequences”. He further said that he is “willing to go to jail” but he and his followers will not allow “filth” to spread in the society.
He then addressed Neha Kakkar in his video, saying that she should keep her husband in check, adding that people have ruined Punjab and they should have some shame and think about the things they have been promoting.
He further said in Hindi, “We agree that you are film stars and good singers, but you should do some good work and maintain a positive mindset. What are you serving to the younger generation? Right now, Punjab is drowning in two streams—drugs and indecency.”
Not only Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh, he also accused Sikh influencers of spreading indecency, claiming that they are not true Sikhs and have adopted Sikh identity from outside. He further urged the people who inherited Sikh heritage to respect it and revealed that his group is monitoring several social media users who post “inappropriate” content on social media. He concluded by saying, “We will first explain things with love, but if they don’t listen, we will take further action.”
Protest against Kulhad Pizza couple
This is not the first time that Maan Singh Akali has issued a warning to couples. Earlier, he protested against the Kulhad Pizza couple in Jalandhar, stating that their social media content has a “harmful impact” on the children.
