Shivpuri: A tea seller from Madhya Pradesh has gone viral for his extravagant way of celebrating the purchase of a moped. To celebrate the vehicle’s purchase, he spent Rs 60,000 to hire a DJ. He also arranged for a JCB to lift the two-wheeler so that his family and friends could see it properly.
Murari Lal Kushwaha sells tea in Shivpuri, MP. He bought the moped on a loan, making a down payment of Rs 20,000, according to the Times of India (TOI). To mark this significant occasion, he organised a grand celebration with a DJ and a JCB, which cost him three times the amount of his down payment.

Kushwaha led a DJ procession with the moped placed on a decorated buggy. He used the JCB to lift the moped for better visibility for his family and friends. The celebration including dance and music, entertaining not only his loved ones but also passersby.
Kushwaha expressed that he wanted to make his children happy. “I am happy that I provide for my family. Every celebration is a way to bring joy to my kids,” said the father of three, who has a daughter named Priyanka and sons named Ram and Shyam.
The celebrations began at his home, where he danced with friends to DJ music. After that, he took the procession to the showroom. Once he got the vehicle, he decorated it with a garland and took selfies.
While Kushwaha enjoyed his celebration, the authorities were less pleased. Reports indicate that police seized the DJ equipment and filed a noise complaint against him and the DJ operator.
Three years ago, Kushwaha purchased a mobile phone on loan for Rs 12,500 for his daughter. However, to celebrate that purchase, he ended up spending Rs 25,000.
