New Delhi: Friends actor Matthew Perry’s death took the world by storm last year. Now, some new and harrowing details have surfaced about the circumstances leading to his tragic demise on October 28, 2023. According to an investigation, Matthew’s assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, revealed that the beloved actor was found unconscious multiple times in the weeks before his fatal overdose. The investigation has unveiled a disturbing pattern of drug abuse and malpractice by the actor.

Matthew Perry’s Ketamine drug overdose

Kenneth, who had been Matthew’s assistant for some time, confessed to finding the actor unconscious at his residence on at least two separate occasions in the month before his death. On the day of the actor’s passing, he administered two shots of ketamine, a drug that had been legally prescribed to Matthew for depression but had become a substance of abuse. The first shot was given at 8:30 AM and the second at 12:45 PM.

Just 40 minutes after the second injection, the actor requested a larger dose and instructed Kenneth to prepare his jacuzzi. When his assistant returned from running errands, he found Matthew face down in the jacuzzi, unresponsive.

Matthew Perry paid $55,000 for drugs

The investigation revealed that the late actor’s struggle with ketamine addiction began in September 2023. The drug was initially prescribed by Dr Salvador Plasencia, who not only provided Matthew with liquid ketamine and lozenges but also taught Kenneth how to inject it into his body.

Additionally, he roped in Dr Mark Chavez to acquire more ketamine and profit from Matthew’s growing addiction. Disturbingly, Salvador allegedly texted Mark, “I wonder how much this moron will pay,” as they exploited the star’s vulnerability for financial gain.

In total, Matthew Perry paid $55,000 to the doctors for the drug supply.

Matthew Perry death case update

Erik Fleming, another key figure in this tragic case, acted as a middleman between Matthew and an unnamed drug dealer. He supplied the fatal dose that led to the actor’s death. He has since pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distributing the fatal drug. Mark also pled guilty to one count of distribution and is facing a potential 10-year prison sentence.

Meanwhile, Salvador has pleaded not guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, seven counts of distributing the drug, and two counts of falsifying records related to the investigation. If convicted, he will face up to 10 years in prison for each ketamine-related charge and up to 20 years for each count of falsifying records.
