New Delhi: The Maharashtra CM Ladki Bahan Yojana is offering a Diwali bonus to eligible beneficiaries as it prepares to roll out the next instalment of the scheme which aims to empower women aged 21-50 years of age by credited money into their account via direct benefit transfer (DBT).
Ladki Bahan Yojana is a flagship scheme of the Maharashtra state government.
Ladki Bahan Yojana Diwali Bonus 2024
The Maharashtra CM’s Ladki Bahan Yojana 20204 is eligible for a Diwali bonus in which beneficiaries will receive the 4th and 5th instalments together worth Rs 3,000. This will entail payments for both October and November ahead of Diwali on November 1, 2024. More than 94,000 beneficiaries received the advance payment till date.
Ladki Behen Scheme eligibility
Women must adhere to the following guidelines to determine their eligibility for the flagship scheme:
- The candidate must be a resident of Maharashtra
- They must be aged 21-65 years old
- They must have an Aadhaar-seeded bank account with a linked mobile number
- The applicant’s annual income must not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh
How to apply for Ladki Bahan Scheme
Eligible women must reach out to their nearest Anganwadi Centre or Setu Suvidha Kendra. Potential beneficiaries can also reach out to the city mission manager, Sarkar Seva Kendra among other facilities. Application for this scheme is available free of cost.
Beneficairies must ensure that their details are accurate. Ensure correct name, date of birth and Aadhaar card details are entered in the application.
