John Wick spin-off movie – Ballerina’s trailer

The trailer for the spin-off movie suggests that it is set somewhere between John Wick’s third and fourth instalments. Ballerina revolves around Eve Macarro, an orphan-turned-assassin, who trains at the Ruska Roma’s school. After the death of her family, Eve was under the care of Continental Hotel’s owner, Winston Scott. The movie shows Eve’s direct connection to the John Wick universe as she gradually becomes a high-profile contract killer. Playing Elton John’s Tiny Dancer in the background, the trailer shows Eve confronting ‘Baba Yaga’ – Keanu Reeves’ John Wick.

On a quest for revenge, Eve goes on a journey to hunt down those responsible for the murder of her family. Paying homage to beloved characters, Eve will also come face-to-face with other John Wick characters like Charon and new faces like The Director.

The cast for ​​From the World of John Wick: Ballerina includes Ana de Arman, Anjelica Huston, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Morena, Gabriel Byrne, and Norman Reedus.

The spin-off film was initially slated to premiere on June 7, 2024, however, was later pushed for a June 6, 2024 release. Directed by Len Wiseman, written by Shay Hatten, and based on the characters by Derek Kolstad, the movie is reportedly part of an upcoming franchise.
