New Delhi: It was September 19 last year, when NTA academic calendar was released and the candidates got to know about their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG and PG), University Grants Commission (UGC)-NET, other important exam dates which were conducted in 2024. But, the NTA academic calendar for 2025 is yet to be released, and lakhs of candidates who are prepared for the engineering, medical, and other entrance exams are quite anxious.
Sources in NTA told News9 that the NTA academic calendar is likely to be released by November first week. The candidates who are preparing for JEE Main, NEET can check and download the exam schedule from the official websites, once released. JEE Main 2025 is scheduled to be held in two sessions, while NEET, CUET, UGC NET will be held in a single session. The JEE Main 2025 official website is jeemain.nta.ac.in, NEET- neet.nta.nic.in, CUET- exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG, UGC NET- ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Meanwhile, candidates who are preparing for JEE Main should know that the engineering entrance will be held in a different paper pattern this year. According to the JEE Main revised paper pattern, section B will no longer contain optional questions. Candidates need to attempt all five questions in Section B of every JEE Main paper.
