For more than forty years, the x86 architecture has served as the foundation of contemporary computing, powering data centers and personal computers around the world. With the increasing prevalence of artificial intelligence workloads, custom chip designs, and advancements in system architectures, there is an urgent need to advance the x86 ecosystem.
Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel, stressed the significance of this partnership, stating, “We are on the brink of one of the most important transformations in the x86 architecture and ecosystem in decades.” He pointed out the necessity for enhanced customization and compatibility to satisfy future customer needs.

What will the advisory group do?
