New Delhi: The IIFA 2024 Awards, held on September 28 in Abu Dhabi, were a grand celebration of Indian cinema’s finest talents. The star-studded event honoured the best performances and films of the past year, with Animal taking home the prestigious Best Film award. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor, the film was a standout hit, with producer Bhushan Kumar accepting the accolade on behalf of the team.
In the acting categories, two Bollywood legends took centre stage. Shah Rukh Khan was named Best Actor for his intense portrayal in Jawan, which has already become one of the year’s biggest blockbusters.

Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji secured the Best Actress award for her emotional performance in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, where she plays a resilient mother fighting for her children in a foreign land.
