New Delhi: Dancer-actress Nora Fatehi made some shocking revelations in the latest interview. Nora, who rose to fame with item numbers Dilbar and Kamariya, said that she never got paid for both the songs. She even revealed that her blouse was “too tiny” for Dilbar and she almost refused to do the song.
The actress recalled that she did the songs for free as she was a “nobody” at that time and wanted to establish herself before making any demands. She even recalled telling Dilbar makers to not “over-sexualise” her and get “vulgar”.

During an interview at the Indian Film of Melbourne, Nora Fatehi took her stand against wearing a “tiny blouse”. She recalled telling the makers, “Guys, I cannot wear this. Don’t over-sexualise me. I get it, it is a sexy song. We are all inherently sexy, but we don’t need to get vulgar about it.”
She shared that they have to “reconstruct the whole blouse”. She further said that she doesn’t mind showing her stomach but cannot show “too much of cleavage”, adding, “It was something I was comfortable wearing compared to what they were going to give me.”
Nora Fatehi shared that it’s difficult to put your foot down when you are a “nobody” in the industry. So recalled explaining makers with love and told Satyameva Jayate director Milap Zaveri, “Let them focus on my face, and dance moves. Let them not focus on the breasts.”

Nora Fatehi also opened up about being dressed not as per her body type. She said, “The way they dress Ananya, Sara, or Janhvi, they cannot dress me the same way. My body doesn’t look like her when they wear it, adding that her body type is not the same” as other actresses. She further shared that her body type is “not familiar in Bollywood” and not a lot of girls have her body type. She also said that she has to push stylists and directors to understand where she is coming from.
