Netizens raise serious concern

The image sparked a serious discussion by the netizens regarding increasing cost of education. A user wrote, “Government has given free hand to private schools to do this official loot. Even many politicians are linked to some schools. Organized loot (extortion) going on openly.”

Another wrote, “People will spend for their children what they will never do for themselves. That is why expensive coaching centers, schools, colleges are proliferating like crazy.”

One user made a serious remark on the government writing, “Sad reality of our system, and this will never be debated in parliament. Like medical facilities will never be, work culture will never be, consumer rights will never be and more … Majority schools r run by politicians and party fund sponsors.”

A user comparing the present cost of education with the past costs wrote, “Was lucky in our and children’s times. Quality education at reasonable price. Now it is pure dacoity in the name of education which is also pedestrian. The ownership and revenue sharing models of Private School and colleges tells us clearly about what ails the country.”
