New Delhi: In a quirky and eye-catching post, the Delhi Police shared a road safety advisory featuring Instagram famous Ganji Chudail. The animated character is widely popular on Instagram for funny dialogues and stories. The Delhi Police did not leave a chance to spread road safety awareness using the Ganji Chudail’s popularity.

In a tweet, the Delhi Police quoted, “Ganji Chudail: Mujhse nahi, chot se daro! Helmet pehno! #RoadSafety #GanjiChudail” The tweet had an image of Ganji Chudail wearing a helmet.

This is not the first time Delhi Police has posted such quirky tweets to spread road safety awareness. The team also interacts with people and gives witty replies to bizarre queries and requests. Once a person responding to Delhi Police’s World No Tobacco Day post, said, “Meri girlfriend kab banwaoge? Main abhi signal Hoon Delhi police (When will you find me a girlfriend. I’m still single). This is not fair you should help me to find a girlfriend for me.”

Responding to the tweet, the Delhi Police said, “Sir, we can help you find her (only if she ever goes missing). Tip: If you are a ‘signal’, we hope you stay green, not red.”

The tweet garnered a lot of attention. A netizen responded to the tweet saying, “Delhi Police Rocks”.

Meanwhile another one said, “Bhai sahab. Gajab. Khatarnaak. Pheli baar Delhi Police ko dekh kar feeling good.”
