New Delhi: India’s most loved reality show Bigg Boss is all set to storm television screens with its 18th season. And, even before its premiere, rumours have taken over social media about the celebrities likely to appear in the much-talked-about series, hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
One name that has particularly caught the attention of netizens is that of a politician. Yes, you read that right! Reports suggest that a political party leader might be part of Bigg Boss 18. According to ndtv.in, citing media reports, Aam Aadmi Party leader from Madhya Pradesh – Chaahat Pandey – is expected to be a contestant. However, there is no official confirmation about the same so far.
For the unversed, Chaahat is also a television actress. The media outlet further mentioned that she contested the Madhya Pradesh election from the Damoh Assembly Constituency. But, Chaahat failed to emerge victorious in the poll.
Chaahat also enjoys a massive following on social media. You will be amazed to know that she enjoys more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram. Chaahat frequently updates fans on her daily activities on the popular photo-sharing platform.

Social media buzz suggests that Bigg Boss Season 18 will premiere on television on October 5, 2024. While the list of contestants is still under wraps, Shoaib Ibrahim, Dheeraj Dhoopar and Debchandrima Singha Roy have reportedly confirmed their participation. Many other stars are still in negotiation. Now, it will be really interesting to see if Bigg Boss 18 manages to break the TRP records of its previous seasons.
