New Delhi: The drama in Bigg Boss 18 has taken a new turn! This time with one of its most controversial contestants, advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte exiting the house. Known for his sharp wit and straightforward personality, the popular figure has been a standout this season.
His on-screen presence, filled with humour and heated debates, has kept the audience hooked. However, the reason behind his sudden exit is more shocking than anything he’s said inside the house
Why was Gunaratna Sadavarte ousted from Bigg Boss house?
Contrary to what many may have assumed, Gunaratna’s departure has nothing to do with his provocative statements about public figures like Dawood Ibrahim, Uddhav Thackeray, and Sharad Pawar. According to reports circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the advocate had to leave the Bigg Boss house due to a pending legal case in the Bombay High Court.
It appears that Gunaratna had appealed against the Maratha Reservation in the court but failed to attend a critical hearing. His absence during the proceedings led the other lawyers to inform the judge that Sadavarte was participating in Bigg Boss 18. This revelation reportedly didn’t sit well with the court. Interestingly, Gunaratna had previously requested the court to hear his case earlier than scheduled. Now, with his absence, the hearing has been postponed until November 19.
Will Gunaratna Sadavarte return to Bigg Boss 18?
Fans of Sadavarte, don’t be too disheartened. According to the X account Bigg Boss Tak, Gunaratna’s exit is likely temporary. It’s rumoured that he might return to the show once his legal obligations are taken care of. So, viewers can expect more of his bold statements and confrontations after he settles his court matters.
Gunaratna Sadavarte’s outspoken nature has led to multiple heated arguments, most notably with fellow housemates Arfeen Khan, Karan Veer Mehra, and Avinash Mishra. He also made headlines when he demanded that Bigg Boss release Tajinder Singh Bagga and Hema Sharma from jail.
