The general category candidates need a minimum of 60 per cent marks to pass the AP TET exam. The passing marks for the backward class category candidates is 50 per cent and for SC, ST category candidates it is 40 per cent.

New Delhi: The Department of School Education in Andhra Pradesh will declare the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) result 2024 today, November 2. The AP TET result 2024 download link will be available on the official website, aptet.apcfss.in, once it is out. To check the result online, candidates will need their user ID and date of birth.

The details that will be mentioned on the AP TET 2024 result page are the name of the candidate, roll number, category of the candidate, hall ticket number, paper attempted, marks secured in the exam, qualifying status and pass percentage. To pass the APTET exam, the general category candidates need to secure at least 60 per cent marks, while the pass percentage for the backward class category candidates is 50 per cent. Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories need a minimum of 40 per cent passing marks. AP TET certificate has a lifetime validity.

How to check AP TET result 2024?

To check the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) result, candidates can follow these steps-

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of APTET, aptet.apcfss.in
  • Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the ‘APTET Result 2024’ and click on it.
  • Step 3: A login page will appear where candidates need to enter the necessary credentials.
  • Step 4: After entering the required details, click on submit.
  • Step 5: The APTET result page will be displayed on the screen.
  • Step 6: Review it, download the page and take the printout of it for future reference.

Earlier, the AP TET 2024 exam was held between October 3 to October 21. The exam was conducted in two shifts. Shift 1 was held from 9:30 AM to 12 noon, while shift 2 was from 2:30 PM to 5 PM. To check and know more on the result, candidates are advised to visit the official website.
