ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) marked a new milestone by opening its 300th store in India, with Grammy-winning music producer Alan Walker present to officially launch the outlet. The store was inaugurated at the Mall of Asia in Bengaluru and coincided with Walker’s ongoing Walkerworld Tour, which is set to cover 10 cities across India.
The Bengaluru store launch is part of ASUS ROG’s strategy to expand its footprint in India, which is witnessing a surge in demand for gaming devices and accessories. The new store aims to provide a dedicated space for gamers and tech enthusiasts to experience the latest ROG products, from gaming laptops to accessories.
Alan Walker’s Presence at the Event
Alan Walker, who is also the global brand ambassador for ASUS ROG, attended the launch as part of his association with the brand. Walker’s India tour, which started in Kolkata on September 27th, will see him perform in cities such as Shillong, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kochi, Pune, and Mumbai, before concluding in Hyderabad on October 20th.
Reflecting on his association with ASUS ROG, Walker said, “Technology and music go hand-in-hand, and it’s great to see ROG reaching new milestones in India. I’m excited to be here for the launch of their 300th store and to connect with fans and gamers alike.”
India’s gaming industry has been growing steadily, driven by a younger demographic and increased interest in e-sports and gaming communities. ASUS ROG’s decision to open more stores across the country reflects this trend, offering customers easier access to gaming products and in-store support.
