New Delhi: Bigg Boss Marathi season 5 grand finale is all set to take place on Sunday (October 6, 2024). Fans were confused and shocked to learn that the well-loved reality show was just ending in a little over 70 days. BB Marathi season 5 was doing well in terms of viewers, so why did the makers decide to end the show abruptly? For context, in the previous episode (October 5), Bigg Boss eliminated 8 contestants from the show and announced that the finale would take place on October 6. Now, 6 contestants will be fighting for the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 trophy. The voting lines were re-opened till 6 PM on October 5. As the votes have been accumulated, fans have noticed something fishy in the voting trends. Here’s what happened.

After fans voted for the favoured Bigg Boss Marathi 5 contestant, they also kept a close eye on the voting trends to predict the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 winner. However, the current voting trends have created quite a ruckus on social media.

Bigg Boss Marathi 5 voting trends – who will become winner?

The 6 Bigg Boss Marathi 5 finalists are – Ankita Walawalkatr, Abhijeet Sawant, Nikki Tamboli, Suraj Chavan, Dhannanjay Powar and Janhvi Killerkar. Out of these 6 contestants, only one will emerge as the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 winner. As per voting trends, the audience has chosen a clear winner.

A fan-favourite since the dawn of the show, Suraj Chavan is leading in voting trends. It is said that ever since the voting lines were re-opened, Suraj Chavan has remained at the top spot. On the other hand, Abhijeet Sawant, who is deemed to be a strong contender for the trophy, has taken second place. Jumping from fifth to third place, the voting trends suggest that Nikki Tamboli has made it to the top 3.

As for the remaining contestants, Ankita Walawalkar slipped from third to fourth place. Meanwhile, Dhananjay Powar took fifth place and Jahnavi Killekar stood sixth. Abhijeet Sawant and Nikki Tamboli’s dramatic leap has led to a wave of accusations from netizens. Acussing the makers of rigging the votes in favour of their favourites, a netizen said, “The makers are manipulating the results. Abhijeet and Nikki are being pushed because they are producers’ favourites.”
