New Delhi: The tragic death of Friends star Matthew Perry has left fans and the entertainment industry in shock. For those living under a rock, the actor was found dead in his hot tub on October 28, 2023, and the investigation behind his tragic demise is currently underway.

Matthew Perry’s death case: New details emerge

When police arrived at Matthew’s home, they discovered his master bedroom suite in a state of chaos. According to a source with access to the crime scene photos, the room appeared as though it had been “ransacked” during a “long bender.” Clothes were strewn about, towels littered the floor, and the overall condition was described as a “disaster.” This stood in stark contrast to the rest of the property, which was reportedly clean and well-kept, leading to speculation that the late actor may have restricted cleaning staff from entering his private quarters.

Matthew’s death was officially ruled as an overdose of ketamine, a powerful anaesthetic often used illegally for its hallucinogenic effects. The actor’s body was found floating face down in his hot tub.

Who is Kenneth Iwamasa?

Kenneth Iwamasa, a longtime member of the late actor’s staff, is one of five individuals detained by authorities in connection with the actor’s death. He has been charged with administering at least 27 shots of ketamine to the late actor in the final five days of his life. Court records reveal that Kenneth spent over $55,000 on the drug in the month leading up to Matthew’s death, and three of the doses are believed to have caused the “serious bodily injury” that led to his demise.

In a disturbing turn, federal prosecutors allege that the staff member attempted to cover up the circumstances of Matthew’s death. He reportedly disposed of drugs, syringes, and other paraphernalia before calling 911. Additionally, it’s claimed that he contacted Jasveen Sangha, known as the “ketamine queen,” for advice on how to handle the situation.
