New Delhi: Bigg Boss Marathi season 5 has been gaining quite the traction. With the biggest Marathi industry celebrities entering the house, fans have kept their eyes peeled this season. Within a few days since the premiere, the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 house has already seen contestants diving themselves into groups. In a recent promo, veteran Marathi actress Varsha Usgaonkar was seen sleeping on the floor due to a few house members. This clip sparked an outrage online as fans picked sides. Who is in the wrong? Contestants Nikki Tamboli, Jahnavi Killekar, Arbaz Patel and Vaibhav Chavan have formed a group inside the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 house. The group was seen butting heads with Varsha Usgaonkar in a promo clip. The video showed the group wanting to sleep together. However, when Varsha refused to give up her spot, the conversation turned into an argument between Nikki, Varsha and Jahnavi. This led to Varsha sleeping on the floor near the doorway.

Netizens’ criticism towards Nikki Tamboli and Varsha Usgaonkar

This argument spread like wildfire among avid watchers as they began picking sides. Some picked Nikki Tamboli’s side on X and said, “As a BB Marathi viewer, they’ve started targeting @nikkitamboli and favouring #Varshausgaonkar. But #Nikki is definitely a strong contestant as we saw in BB S14, rooting for her, let’s see kitan target karte hai.” A viewer stayed neutral on the situation and shared, “Nikki did cross a line but Varsha mam was at fault. She thinks she is on a vacation.”

Meanwhile, some netizens take Varsha’s side, an X post read, “So they accepted that they were purposefully irritating #VarshaUsgaonkar, this is school going bullies kind of behaviour. Why are other contestants behaving like such doormats?? @Riteishd please take up this issue during WKV.”
