New Delhi: WWE superstar Tiffany Stratton has been on a rampant run on Friday Night SmackDown and with the ongoing pace, she is set to reach the “Tiffy Top” sooner rather than later. She recently opened up about the social media negativity that she goes through almost every single day, highlighting that she has taken a bold stand against it. Several WWE stars get targeted by online trolls and Tiffany is no different in the scenario.
Many WWE fans from a certain section have tried to take a jibe at the wrestlers for their actions, irrespective of the situation. Tiffany, a 25-year-old, is no stranger to life online and even some of her actions within or outside the ring have brought her heavy criticism.
In a recent interview with the Daily Star, Tiffany stated that she has started to limit her social media activity in order to stay away from the online hate that she recive every now and then. She said she didn’t want to mindlessly waste her time scrolling and also went on to comment on the fans who reply with hateful comments. She even gave them a befitting reply for continuously firing shots at the superstars.
“I definitely try to limit scrolling on social platforms and stuff like that. I feel like that can be very toxic to your mind and stuff. So, I definitely limit that. Also, these people hating are probably people living in their parents’ basement and low lives. I just feel like it’s not comparable to my life, and there are people that I don’t know, so why would I care what they say about me,” Tiffany said as quoted by Sportskeeda Wrestling.
Tiffany to face Naomi on SmackDown
Tiffany along with Nia Jax had a fight last month with Naomi when Bayley was absent from WWE SmackDown but she returned and assisted her longtime friend against the famous duo of Jax and Tiffany. Naomi and Bayley took a shot at the Women’s Championship as they double pinned Nia Jax and Nick Aldis set them up for a one-on-one to determine the top contender.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Bayley advanced and successfully secured a title match against Nia Jax at the WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta. In the same episode, Jax issued a warning to Stratton as she will be facing Naomi on the go-home edition of SmackDown before featuring in Bad Blood.
