Heavy rain likely in many districts of Telangana.
Hyderabad: Heavy rain is likely to occur at some places in Nirmal, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal districts along with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) on September 23, 24, 25, India Meteorological Department said. A yellow alert was issued.
Thunderstorms with gusty winds of 40-50 kmph will be likely in almost all districts of Telangana including Hyderabad on September 26 and similar conditions are likely the next day.
The IMD bulletin also said that all six zones of Hyderabad will see generally cloudy sky and light to moderate rain or thundershowers over the next few days. Maximum temperatures are recorded 32 degrees Celsius above at a few places and minimum temperatures are recorded below 25 degrees Celsius at most places.
On Monday, rain and storms lashed the city including in Miyapur, Nizampet, Lingampally, Tolichowki, Mehdipatnam, Shaikpet, Madhapur, Kondapur, Banjara Hills among others.

On Sunday, Hyderabad received scattered rain in many parts of the city. Bandlaguda received 21.5 mm rainfall followed by Saroornagar with 17.8 mm. Hayathnagar received 17.5 mm, followed by Vanasthalipuram, LB Nagar, Chandrayangutta and Malakpet.
