Chennai: Actress Kasthuri has found herself at the center of a heated controversy following her remarks about Telugu women during a protest in Chennai. The comments sparked outrage, leading the All India Telugu Sammelan to file a complaint against her at the Chennai Egmore police station.

Kasthuri’s comments were made during a protest organized by the Hindu Makkal Katchi in Chennai, where she questioned why Brahmins who came to Tamil Nadu centuries ago weren’t considered Tamils.
