OxygenOS 15 confirmed to launch on October 24. Know all about this OnePlus’ next-gen operating system.

OnePlus has finally announced the launch date of the OxygenOS 15, the next-generation operating system of the company. The tech giant has announced that the OxygenOS 15 launch is scheduled on October 24th, 2024 at 3:30 PM via an online event on its official channels. The company says that it will be one of the first operating systems that are based on the Android 15 update. “OxygenOS 15 is set to be the fastest and most user-friendly OxygenOS ever,” the company claimed. 

This comes a few days after the announcement of Google to roll out its Android 15 to Pixel devices, while some other brands are also on their way to announce their respective operating systems soon, including Nothing OS 3.0, FunTouchOS 15, and now the OxygenOS 15. AI Features Are Coming Soon! One of the much-awaited upgrades in the OxygenOS 15 is expected to be the arrival of AI features. Based on speculations, OnePlus may get Google’s AI features embedded in its photo app or other apps of the phone. Still, we will have to wait for the final rollout.

OnePlus users who own the flagship models can expect updates in the early phase such as the OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus Open and even the previous year’s flagships such as the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 10T, OnePlus 10 Pro, and OnePlus 10R. Apart from these, OnePlus is expected to roll out the next biggest update of the operating system to the Nord series including the OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite and some previous models such as OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus Nord CE 3, and OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite.
