The WCL Trade Apprentice post application form filling last date is October 28. Through thi recruitment drive, a total of 902 vacancies will be filled.

New Delhi: Western Coalfields Limited is accepting applications for the post of Trade Apprentice. Candidates can fill out the WCL recruitment 2024 Trade Apprentice application form through the official website at westerncoal.in. The last date to apply for the WCL Trade Apprentice post is October 28. Through this WCL recruitment drive, a total of 902 vacancies will be filled.

Those who have undertaken any previous apprenticeship training as a part of the apprenticeship programme or are undergoing any regular programme of study as regular candidates cannot apply.

The age of the candidate needs to be between 18 to 25 years to apply. However, the age limit is relaxed by 5 years for the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates and 3 years for the Other Backward Caste (OBC) category candidates.

Out of the total vacancies, 841 posts are for ITI Trade Apprentices and 61 posts for fresher Trade Apprentices (Security Guard). The WCL Apprenticeship training for ITI Trade Apprentices will be for a period of 12 months, and for fresher Trade Apprentices, the apprenticeship training will be as specified in the apprenticeship rule.

WCL Trade Apprentice recruitment stipend

The shortlisted applicants will receive a monthly stipend based on their qualifications: Applicants with a one-year ITI certification will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 7,700, those with a two-year ITI certification will get Rs 8,050 and Rs 6,000 for fresher candidates.

WCL Trade Apprentice selection process

WCL will shortlist candidates for each trade separately. The final selection will be based on the application, document verification, medical exam and more. For the document verification, candidates need to carry the original as well as the self attested copies. Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying exam, a provisional merit list will be prepared.
